Since his debut with the Kazakh State Symphony Orchestra at age 12, Vladimir Dyo has toured and performed at prestigious venues of the former USSR, Europe, Asia, and the United States, including Carnegie Hall, Walt Disney Hall, Seoul Arts Center, Rachmaninoff Hall, Tchaikovsky Hall, Column Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, KBS Hall, UNESCO, United Nations General Headquarters etc. His individual tone and personal approach to phrasing set him apart from his peers. He has received numerous awards from foundations, politicians, and national and international competitions including Grand Prize at the Michelangelo Abbado International Competition in Milan, Italy, 2nd prize at the International Yampolski Violin Competition in Moscow, Russia, Grand prizes at the top National and International Competitions in Kazakhstan.

Vladimir was featured on BBC World Service program hosted by Michael Church; "Classical Collection" program hosted by Philipp Richardson and Kevin Parks, and "This Morning" program hosted by Alex Jensen on eFM 101.3, Korea's No.1 Foreign Language Station; "Civilized Discourse with Ross Amico" on WPRB, Princeton, NJ; and multiple times on Kazakhstan National Radio and Television. In 2019, he was featured on the cover of Strad Korea Magazine including a cover story about his activities as soloist, educator and artistic director of the Global Music Partnership.

In 2015, he was invited to perform as guest soloist with Ulsan Philharmonic Orchestra at Carnegie Hall (Stern Auditorium) and at the Peace Concert at the United Nations General Headquarters in NY dedicated to the 70th Anniversary of UN and 65th Anniversary of Korean War, along with legendary coloratura soprano Sumi Jo under the baton of maestro Hong-Jae Kim.

As soloist and chamber musician, Vladimir Dyo performed at the international music festivals including the Graduates of Moscow Conservatory (Russia), Ost-West-Musikfest, Prague-Vienna-Budapest, and Mozarteum (Austria). The Cliburn Institute (USA), Seoul International Music Camp Festival, GwangJu International Classic Festival (Korea), the iPalpiti International Laureates Festival (Los Angeles, USA), and served as faculty member and assistant conductor at the 20th Summit Music Festival in New York. In 2017, Vladimir Dyo was featured soloist at the Namdo International Classical Music Festival in Gwangju, South Korea, where he performed with the Festival Orchestra comprised of musicians of world's leading orchestras, including Vienna Philharmonic, Baltimore, Symphony, Seoul Philharmonic, Mariinsky Orchestra etc. In addition, he has collaborated and performed works of living composers including Daugherty's "Lex", Tsontakis' 2nd Violin Concerto, and primiered works by David Carpenter, Allen Krantz, Kareem Roustom, Paul Moravec and others.

As an entrepreneur and artistic director of Global Music Partnership, Vladimir Dyo has facilitated numerous projects around the world, including concerts, festivals, competitions, master classes, and recording projects, creating opportunities for young and professional performers. These events take place in countries such as the USA, South Korea, China, Germany, Spain, Italy, the United Arab Emirates, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and more. GMP performers and partners represent some of the finest artists, institutions, and organizations globally. GMP is also dedicated to supporting young musicians and musicians with disabilities. In 2022, Vladimir became a voting member of the Recording Academy (GRAMMYs).

Master Class at Christophe Landon Violins in New York

Dr. Dyo serves on the faculty of Benjamin T. Rome School of Music and Arts in Washington DC, he has also taught violin and chamber music at various institutions including Temple University, Kazakh National Academy of Music; and was invited to give master classes at Shanghai University, Chonnam University, Kazakh National University of Arts, Seoul Arts High School, Seoul International Music Camp Festival, Ilsan Youth Orchestra (South Korea), Veritas Youth Orchestra (USA). He enjoys teaching students worldwide in person and via current online platforms. His discoveries of Bel Canto style and principles (tone production technique that emulates human voice in singing and in speech, and proper control of the muscles) help students find their own voices and means to express themselves through violin/viola and chamber music performance. Dr. Dyo's students are winners of local and international competitions; they have performed at various venues internationally including Carnegie Hall in New York. Some of them entered Harvard, Yale, Columbia and other prestigious universities to pursue their careers. He has adjudicated the Youth Competition of Korean Musicians Association of Philadelphia (2010-2016) and the Eastern Division Students Competition of Music Teachers’ National Association (2011). In 2017, he adjudicated the State Examination at the National Conservatory of Uzbekistan, and in 2019, he adjudicated the III International Competition "Jumeirah Sounds" and gave master classes in Dubai, UAE.

Since age 7, Vladimir Dyo had studied violin at the State's Special Baiseitova Music School for gifted children in Alma-Ata, and Kazakh National Academy of Music (currently Kazakh National University of Arts) in Astana. His violin teachers include Svetlana Abdussadykova, Raissa and Aiman Mussahadjaeva, and Eduard Schmieder; chamber music teachers include Vyacheslav Uzbekov, Nathaniel Rosen, and Helen Kwalwasser; conducting - Luis Biava. Vladimir Dyo holds degrees in Violin Performance and Pedagogy from the Kazakh National Academy of Music, Artist Certificate and Master of Music degree in Violin Performance from Southern Methodist University, and Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Violin Performance from Temple University.
